Had a fantastic meal! Chef Henrie's is a truly authentic Austrian experience. The hunter's schnitzel was delicious! My wife had the stuffed eggplant which was also amazing. Very inviting decor and fabulous service. We cannot wait to go back and try other items.

We normally visit Chef Henrie for dinner but couldn't resist stopping while heading north to Georgian Bay for the Franz" schnitzel on a bun. The take out was as delicious as the dining in experience with quick friendly service. Looking forward to our next dine in experience. Be sure to make reservations as they always book up quickly even during the weekdays."

There are not enough stars to truly express how great this place is. A very friendly place, unexpectedly nestled a few km from the 400 north.I have never had such great schnitzel on a bun, so very tender.

I don’t write reviews often (it’s been years) but feel compelled to express my satisfaction with wonderful surprise of a gem. I was HUNGRY when we stopped here on the way to the cottage. I ended up doing that thing where I keep eating despite being full (it’s my only warning to you).The atmosphere was great too. We chatted with a peaceful, cowboy hat wearing senior local, who comes here every day (that’s how you really know it’s good).In all seriousness, I’m Polish, and can tell you this German food is authentic and tastes like home. The owner is also great to chat with. We’ll be back.Get the Cordon Bleu or pork Sznitzel and don’t say no to Spetzle (comes as a side with the latter). If they have they have the potatoe bacon soup as a side, YOU HAVE TO GET IT.

The definition of a hidden gem. Authentic home cooking with the attention to detail given to every dish. Every time we return we are treated like family. A must dinner experience every time we are up north.Keep up the great work!

Amazing - Best Cordon Bleu I have had outside of Europe! Schnitzel on a bun was delish too. Huge portions and excellent service - Franz is an absolute gem! The bee sting dessert" was a special treat. Can't recommend this place enough. It will be our new favourite stop on the way up north."

Enjoyed an excellent lunch break on the way to Algoma. Very friendly including to dogs. Food was scrumptious. I liked the Truffle Mozzarella Balls the most.

Can't say enough good things about this amazing restaurant. Amazing in that the place is cute and charming but the food and the people working push it to another level. The Veal Schnitzel was so good, I began eating before getting a picture to post. If you're in the area, this is a must visit place. So happy we found it!
