A diner full of locals is a treasure - this is the place! Although all the tables were full, we were welcomed to the counter and later directed to a table. The lone waitress was super friendly and efficiently managed the entire front end. We had bacon cheeseburgers and the food was obviously all homemade and delicious! I wanted a milkshake made from real ice cream but didn’t have room. Next time…

First time eating here. Generous portions at a reasonable price. (Hand cut fries!) One lady working out front alone but she was attentive and did her job great. Will definitely be back! Great kids menu. Appreciate the old diner feel. They are few and far between these days.

If you're looking for a quaint little diner with excellent service and even better food... you've found it! Portions were good and the price was really good! Tried the 2 egg Loaded omlette with a slice of French toast and it was absolutely delicious!

just by chance i stumbled upon this jem…. good food - good prices- great staff all in an old school diner type of place …. very enjoyable …. i had breakfast and it was good - but i chatted with a couple of guys who had the burgers and fries and omg they were massive and i was told very tasty….

Monte Cristo is incredible!! Actually all of the food is incredible!! It's definitely a gem of the Crowsnest pass. They usually have pie and pudding. Very old school menu but it's a classic. If your going for breakfast I suggest making a reservation.

Hands down a great local family restaurant. On the busy days which is most , good practice to call ahead and they'll let you know of you need to reserve a seat . Food is good quality and quantity. I've only ever seen empty plates going back to the kitchen .

You know the breakfast is going to be good if the coffee comes in these ugly brown mugs! We were able to sit at the counter because the restaurant was very busy. Service was fast and friendly. Our food came quickly and was very hot and delicious. The prices were good for all the food we got. I really enjoyed the coffee, bacon, and hashbrowns! My son loved that the pancakes had 2 different syrup choices. I would come back here for sure. I bet they have a great cheese burger.

Such a great down to earth greasy spoon. Pancakes are bigger than you may expect... And they are fluffy and delicious.Eggs and bacon with hash browns are a great start to your day!
